UWC East Africa (UWCEA) is proud to build on the legacy established by International School Moshi (ISM), continuing and expanding upon its 50-year tradition of offering Outdoor Pursuits (OP) opportunities to students.

Our mission is to offer inclusive outdoor education as a core component of the UWC East Africa educational experience. We aim to become a global leader in outdoor education by bridging the gap between theory and practice, and by fostering knowledge, skills, and inquiry through experiential learning.

Outdoor Pursuits at UWC East Africa is a collaborative programme that connects our two campuses. Students can participate in trips offered through five distinct OP programmes: Peaks, Plains, Reefs, Rides, and Mindfulness.
