Karibu sana – Welcome to UWC East Africa, Moshi Campus.
I am excited that you will be joining our vibrant community and eager to see the energy, perspective, and talents you will bring. As a UWC East Africa student, you will be living the UWC mission, promoting peace, service, leadership, and sustainability by taking meaningful action right here in Moshi.
Our campus sits in a truly special location. Moshi has a small-town charm with a friendly atmosphere and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers a unique blend of cultures and a welcoming environment for everyone. The town and its surrounding areas provide countless opportunities for you to explore the richness of Tanzanian culture.
In the coming months, we will share important information to help you prepare for your transition. We will start with a Zoom meeting, where you will meet key staff members and your orientation team. After that, you will receive guidance on selecting academic subjects, preparing for travel, and getting ready for orientation week.
Please stay up to date with your preparations, including submitting necessary documents, arranging vaccinations, applying for your student pass (when it's time), and completing other required forms. Be sure to check your email regularly and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We are here to support you every step of the way.
We are delighted to welcome you soon and can’t wait to see you thrive as part of the Moshi Campus community.
